In good condition and I am using it fully
I received it in good condition – I received a higher model optiplex i3/3050/8GB/256GB though the order was for 3040- it is around 5 year old model- all round condition was good and all ports working though – though fan occasionally makes noise on startup (trivial)- i changed it to dual boot after freeing up some space from Win 11 and loaded Ubuntu 22.04 in a 60GB partition- It seemed the initial partition was not UEFI and somehow that posed a bit of challenge (dont know why) so had to create an additional UEFI boot partition discarding the original boot partition of around 100 mb- Though its working fully (with windows partition loaded with Win 11 that came preloaded but could not reload Win 11 as it threw up Hardware not compatible error- I could also register the PC in dell site – it picked it up perfectly- speed is good for regular office work and seems compatible with major office softwares including some really old onesI suggest the initial boot partition should be UEFI of minimum 200MB maybe upto 500MB

I am writing this review after 12 months.I must recommend refurbished PC. Working absolutely fine and it did upgrade RAM to 8GB.

Dont go through online purchaee for electronic items and machinaries
This tiny p c is not working for first day it shwos NO SIGNAL EVERY 10 MIN AND SHUT DOWN automatically and I need start again and again then I Experienced that the p c which is dell optiplex 3040 is working for less days and No guaranty when it will shut down and unrepaired so I request to all those who are exited to buy do not buy electronic item from online go throu offline shoping for electronic items and machines in short dont go through online purchase they do not provide proper service to customers once they selled such items but not taking care of customers Dont waste your money and time
